INNOVATIVE POST-PRODUCTION MANUFACTURED AND MODULAR HOME PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Over the last four decades, manufactured homes have experienced an evolution in the types and quality of homes available to home buyers. Technological advances, production efficiency, evolutionary designs, and a focus on delivering safe quality homes that families can afford are the driving forces within the manufactured housing industry.

The continuing evolution of the in-plant manufacturing process also extends to the post-production sector with products and services provided by independent suppliers that further enhance the value and comfort of the homeowner. The following are two examples of those innovative products/services.

SUNSHINE HOMES OF ALABAMA RECOMMENDS AN INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION TO PERIMETER BLOCKING

John Bostick, President, and CEO of Sunshine Homes of Alabama recently endorsed an inexpensive perimeter blocking system that expands the foundation perimeter of the manufactured home. In addition to the added stability of the home, the steel perimeter blocking is easily adjustable in the event of the home settling, which is quite common when any structure is placed upon new ground.

On the following short video, Bostick speaks not as the President of Sunshine Homes, but as an individual homeowner. John Bostick has called home a Sunshine Homes manufactured home for over twenty-five years.

VIKING CARRIER OF UTAH OFFERS INNOVATIVE MANUFACTURED AND MODULAR HOME TRANSPORT SYSTEM

That aforementioned evolution has not included, until recently, the transport of the factory-completed home from the factory to the placement site. Today’s high quality manufactured homes are now larger and heavier, presenting a variety of challenges. Transporting today’s manufactured home hasn’t changed much for almost 40 years utilizing low quality recycled running gear (axles and tires) creating safety issues, production, and delivery delays, as well as damage to the structure itself.

Viking Carrier has developed a carrier system that eliminates axle and tires from the manufactured home and allows the home to be transported smoothly and safely from the manufacturing facility to the home site, absence the safety risks and damages to the home.

The Viking Carrier is patented in the United States and Canada and is currently deployed throughout the U.S. and Canada
