MHI Congress and Expo Retailer RoundTable

New this year to the MHI Congress and Expo is the Retailer RoundTable. This opportunity is geared specifically towards manufactured home sale centers with each topic tailored to retailers who serve as the face of the manufactured housing industry.
Topics that are being covered in this inaugural roundtable that will benefit many retailers are:

Current Chattel financing options.
Hear about the current chattel lending environment and understand the programs offered by the industry’s largest lenders.

Growing the Industry with a new class of manufactured homes.
Hear how the “New Class” of manufactured homes initiative was launched and how Clayton Homes and other manufacturers are targeting an entirely new group of home buyers. The government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will share their affordable, conventional mortgage financing programs designed especially for this new type of manufactured homes.

Understanding the Market.
Whether you operate a small family dealership or you run a chain of retail stores, positioning yourself to take advantage of the opportunities in today’s competitive housing market is crucial. In this informative session, you’ll learn how to leverage the industry’s data resources to identify and capture your target audience, attract new market segments and get more business from the traffic you already have.  You’ll also learn how to utilize best practices in traditional and digital marketing to develop more qualified prospects.

Federal Advocacy Update
An overview of the federal policy issues that MHI is focused on that impact retailers, including helping customers with financing and on-site completion requirements.
