FORT WORTH, TEXAS – MODEN, a next-generation retailer of factory-built homes, has introduced a new way for homebuyers to explore, customize, and purchase manufactured homes entirely online. Designed for today’s digital consumer, MODEN combines modern technology with the trusted craftsmanship of leading homebuilder Cavco to make the home-buying process simpler, more transparent, and more accessible than ever before.
Through MODEN, customers can browse homes, explore décor options, compare floorplans, and understand pricing, all from their phone or computer. Every step of the process, from discovery to delivery, can now happen without the traditional barriers of location or availability. And for those who prefer personal support, MODEN’s team of home experts is available by phone, text, or video whenever buyers need help.
“People expect to shop for everything online, homes should be no different,” said Carson Nicely, CEO of MODEN. “Our mission is to make home buying more transparent and convenient, while supporting the same trusted manufacturing and retail networks that have made this industry strong.”
MODEN proudly features homes built by Cavco Industries, one of the nation’s largest and most respected manufacturers of factory-built housing. Cavco’s national footprint provides access to a curated selection of high-quality manufactured homes for sale that meet MODEN’s standards for design, durability, and value.
“People expect to shop for everything online, homes should be no different.”
Currently serving buyers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado, MODEN is expanding rapidly as more manufacturing regions come online. Each new market brings localized delivery options and factory-direct coordination to ensure homes reach buyers efficiently and affordably.
MODEN’s technology platform allows customers to visualize their home in real time, compare décor packages, and understand delivery and setup details unique to their location. The result is a digital-first experience built to complement, not replace, the in-person expertise of retail centers and the craftsmanship of factory-built home manufacturers.
We at ManufacturedHomes.com had the opportunity to sit down with Carson Nicely, CEO of MODEN, to learn more about the story behind the brand and the vision shaping its future.
Carson is a second-generation professional in the factory-built housing industry. He grew up surrounded by manufactured home communities, retail centers, and the people who built, sold, and lived in these homes. That lifelong exposure gave him a rare, firsthand understanding of both the opportunities and challenges the industry faces.
“From a young age, I got to see how much heart and hard work goes into this business,” Carson shared. “I also saw how many great homes were built that the general public didn’t always get to see or understand. That stuck with me. I knew if we could pair that same craftsmanship with technology, we could open the door for more people to discover what these homes really are.”
The next generation of buyers is online first. They’re used to transparency, personalization, and speed. MODEN was built to meet those expectations while still honoring the people and processes that make this industry special.
Carson’s deep network across the industry from plant managers and retailers to lenders and service providers has given him insight into how people’s expectations have evolved.
“The next generation of buyers is online first,” he continued. “They’re used to transparency, personalization, and speed. MODEN was built to meet those expectations while still honoring the people and processes that make this industry special.”
That blend of insight, respect, and innovation is what led to the creation of MODEN, a platform built not just to modernize the way homes are sold, but to celebrate the craftsmanship, people, and purpose behind factory-built housing.
