M & W Home Sales of Hemet, CA: Serving Happy Manufactured Home Buyers for over 57 Years and Counting…

The M & W secret to success and longevity is a simple but profound business philosophy: serving customer needs honorably with a total commitment to their satisfaction. Today we will revisit and update the M & W story that originally was detailed in the business section of the Riverside Press-Enterprise, the leading daily newspaper in the region.

Fifty-seven years ago, two business partners jumped into a smoking hot mobile home industry and set up shop. One of those, Noel Williams , was  the grandfather of Craig Williams, the third generation family member who would own and operate M & W Home Sales in the Southern California community of Hemet, located in Riverside County.

“My grandfather would be blown away by all of today’s changes,” said Craig Williams. 53. That’s because every inch of today’s manufactured home models can be customized from floor to ceiling, from cabinets to countertops. In 1959 when his grandfather and partner started, what then was M & W Trailer Sales, customers were limited to just two options: avocado green or harvest gold appliances.

The business that the Williams family has nurtured over the years has maintained an uninterrupted reputation for outstanding service and complete customer satisfaction, earning the Retailer of the Year Award from the California Manufactured Housing Institute.

“They’re highly customer oriented and have long-term experience in the business, so they don’t make many mistakes,” said Jess Maxey, President of CMHI, the California-based trade association. “I wouldn’t be surprised if every one of their customers recommended them without blinking an eye.”

Terry Decio, Vice President of sales for Skyline Homes, headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, praises M & W’s “great integrity” and emphasis on pleasing customers. “They treat them like kings,” Decio exclaimed.

M & W Home Sales and Skyline Homes, the manufacturer, have maintained a decades-long mutually beneficial and respectful relationship dedicated to the same “customer comes first” business philosophy.

The close-knit relationship was originally a result of geographical proximity. The Skyline Homes of San Jacinto home building facility is located just a few blocks from the M&W display center. Craig Williams invites and personally escorts all homebuyers for a factory tour to see how their manufactured home will be built and to choose features and decors.

Skyline Homes is one of the oldest and most respected builders of high-quality value-oriented of manufactured homes, modular and park model RV’s in North America.

You are invited to take a unique 3D virtual tour of one of the Skyline Homes  presently and prominently displayed at the M & W Home Sales center in Hemet,CA.

As for M & W’s future, there may be another “W” waiting in the wings, Craig said when his 16-year-old son, Bryce, visits the Hemet office, he introduces himself to customers as “the fourth-generation distributor of manufactured homes.” The future is bright.
