Harrell Homes, owned and operated by Owen County native Jesse Harrell, opened in August of 2014 in eastern Greene County.
Harrell graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1985 and later received HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) training at Ivy Tech. He also has experience in real estate sales as well as leasing apartments and condominiums, having built and sold several speculation homes as a general contractor. He has owned and operated Harrell Contracting and Excavating for18 years.
Harrell Homes sells new mobile, manufactured and modular homes all across Indiana, working with experienced sub-contractors who know how to work together to make the entire project a fast, efficient, and cost-effective process.
“I’ve spent my life educating myself on and about residential property; I enjoy and take pride in helping others with any of their residential needs, and opening a new business to take care of the mobile, manufactured and modular home buyers’ needs seems like the next logical step,” Harrell said. “We want to offer people a great home at a great price and we’re confident we can do that. To help with that we’ve brought on board John Vaught as our general manager. A real estate professional for over 26 years, John had recently retired from his own business of serving buyers’ and sellers’ real estate needs in Monroe and surrounding counties. I saw a great opportunity to make use of his knowledge and abilities and he and I are eager and up to the challenge of building another business we can be proud of and our customers can count on.”
